Safety Equipment - Rocket Parachute Flare

Rocket Parachute Flare is one of safety equipment that must have onboard the vessel. Under SOLAS requirement, every vessel must have at least 12 unit of this item and normally keep at wheelhouse. 


The use of this item is to alert others of a distress situation day or night.


This is some specification of the rocket parachute flare;

• Height of launching  : min. 300 meter
• Duration of burning  : min. 40 seconds
• Luminous intensity   : 30, 000 candela
